Acanniv, that is what I've been saying, but apparently sources rule the sports world. I still got my money on a 1:1,000,000,000 chance that he's signing with Denver after we get to the Finals this year(yes, I'm saying the Nuggies could handle Utah, LAL, even the Spurs!).

So, what's the problem with Denver? None of the potential trade partners are in a better position than the Nuggets to win anytime soon (even with Melo) and trading for him will cripple those teams' futures. He can make the most money in Denver. Denver will not cost him any endorsements. It's a beautiful city and region that treats it's athletes very well. The ownership/management is obviously committed to doing whatever he wants to see that he stays. So what's the rub? I mean, he's fulfilled his contract and he can choose to work wherever he wants (this being America and all). He really doesn't owe Denver anything, but I just don't understand.
