Feel bad for this guy. It’s a shame when great athletes like he and Yao Ming are consistently injured, when guys like Eddy Curry average 63 games/season.

microfracture surgery is used to repair cartilage. He doesn’t have any in his left knee. He needs a ligament to reduce the friction his knee is getting.

Is microfracture not an option, it seems like that would be a more proven surgery than this.

Portland’s done well w/o Roy. Dare I say, it’s more a team effort now? Which is good; surgery or not, BRoy’s no longer The Man.

If Roy is out for a while, the Blazers will only get better and improve in the Power Rankings. They don’t know how to play with an injured star (give him the ball in tough situation?).
