After watching the game against the Nuggets we need someone who can defend the point. Maybe Rubio is that guy because people forget that he is actually a very good defender. Unless Memphis is basically looking for salary cap relief I don’t see much benefit in trading undeveloped talent for different undeveloped talent. If we can somehow throw Brewer and Ellington at them for Mayo that would make me happy.

So if they get Mayo, is he a sixth man? If that’s the case I would much rather have Brewer coming off the bench. Does Mayo sub for Beasely(foul trouble), and Wes moves to the 3. I like the fact the Kahn is always trying to add talent, but right now they don’t have trouble scoring(unless it’s in the final two minutes). They need a shut down defender.
