So who was Denver going to trade for Love? If they were looking at Derrick Favors for Melo, then wouldn’t Love and some pieces for Melo make sense. Otherwise there is nobody on Denver I would want for Love(and that’s before the season started).

I highly doubt Denver was the only team asking. And it doesn’t take a genius to see Love has game.

Let’s get the record straight . Kevin Love was no stranger coming out of U.C.L.A. after only one season in the NCAA . He left his mark on the Pac. 10 and the NCAA tournament . All the scouts knew he was a bruising physical 6’10″ power forward or center and that he was still just a kid . He was superior to ANY big man in the country coming out of college. He could play , think , and chew bubble gum at the same time . Quite an accomplishment these days for college students that play basketball .
As for the Wolves they knew all about him . Kurt Rambis , a premier rebounder , knew this kid’s potential after observing him and getting all the info from his L.A. contacts.
There are two big men out there that are the real thing . They are just starting to bloom and when they do Watch Out ! Blake Griffin and Kevin Love are the future of big men in the NBA .
