The Cavs aren't going to get very far with the roster they have, but Gibson and Varejao are two of the only players worth keeping. I'll admit Andy's contract isn't all that great, but he's playing out of position. The guy is a natural PF, there is just NO talent at the C position on this team. Ryan Hollins is a poor excuse for a 7 footer and the next guy on the list is 6' 9'' JJ Hickson! Trade away these two players for a 1st rd pick and/or Randolph and Curry and the Cavs would be even more likely to win the lottery for the worst draft of the decade. Great time to be a Cavs fan . . .

I find it funny the Cavs have an "untouchable" player the way their season is going, bottom line Anderson makes too much money for a team in need of rebuilding. If they can get an extra $12 million under the cap (via the Fat Eddy trade) and presumably get another 1st round pick (or just straight up Anthony Randolph) Cleveland MUST do it. I dont see too many teams knocking on the door for Andy, although a great player for his skill set. From the Knicks perspective, I was hoping more for an O.J. Mayo, Marc Gasol pkg, but this Boobie and Varejao trade would do just fine, but we'll see whether its true or just another poor rumor by the sports media.

There is zero chance the Cavs will trade Varajao. Believe that. He is the coach's favorite player, fitting perfectly in Byron Scott's Princeton offense. He may be the only untouchable player on the Cavs at this point. Gibson could probably be had, but not for Eddy Curry or Randolph, who would both be a poor fit in the offense here in Cleveland.

you obviously go with Sideshow Bob and Boobie (that sounds like it should be on Adult Swim doesn't it?) those would be great building blocks and they still end up with Melo via free agency.... A.I (the 2nd) ends up in the west....you heard it here 1st

Gibson and Andy are the Cavs two best players (sad but true). I don't know what the Knicks could give up that would entice the Cavs to part with them. AV is coveted player around the league and the Cavs could probably do much better than anything that NY could offer. I don't see it happening.
