I still don’t get why Knick fans would even want him.. Why would anyone want him?? If anything, I see this as a blessing for Nugget fans.. You can possibly get something, anything (picks, young talent etc..) for an overvalued reluctant defender whose offense is suspect at best..Denver seems like they’ve been a consistent playoff team despite Melo’s ways

@downtowndanny – the Nuggets have been contending in the playoffs, and due in large part to Melo, haven’t gone very deep. Defense wins Championships. Not only can Melo not spell ‘defense’, he doesn’t even know what it smells like, nor does he have the ‘head’ required to lead a team during the playoffs. You can lead when you’re a legend in your own mind, and a one man show.

Melo is an immature player, with a HORRIBLY one sided style of play. He’s a total and complete detriment when you need a stop, and gives up as many OR MORE points than he scores. He can’t take the cold, or the pressure of consistent performance. Imagine a Melo who actually plays the ENTIRE season?

His only title contention will come as a role-player when points are needed, but nothing more.
True basketball fans here in Denver hope that they do trade him, I’d love to see him play somewhere else, and soon, very, very soon.

You’re an idiot. It hasn’t even snowed but twice in Denver… our lakes aren’t even FROZEN yet and they normally are by this time of the year.

And the Mountains aren’t RIGHT IN DENVER. How would you even know if its a nice place if you’re ignorant about what its even like???

I know why that team is called the nuggets..because their ownership’s head is as hard as a rock. Melo does not want to be there, trade him to the Knicks and end this silly game. They remind me of a stalking boyfriend who can’t let his girlfriend go…what a joke!

Denver is a nice place to live , that is if you like snow and mountains……Melo not only wants to win but he wants that city life he cant get in the mountains. If it were me, I’d bounce too. Life is too short, why not spend the last years of his career contending for titles?
