Good point Zeke.
Shinn is just a dolt. Everyone hates him and he doesn’t care.
They should just sell the team to someone who will rename it and just
end this sad chapter of The Hornets.
I would move it to Las Vegas.
You may think i’m nuts but there are 1000′s and 1000′s of people there at any given time who live in towns that don’t have an NBA franchise.
Call them the Las Vegas Dice.
That Oklahoma City team should have been named “The Wildcatters”.
They really didn’t think that through.

George Shinn isn’t losing money. He left Charlotte after the city of New Orleans promised him a stadium AND guaranteed a certain annual income. He’s just bored or hiding something. I can’t wait to watch documentary about this takeover and whatever controversy ensues.

Funny. If the league would have just allowed the Hornets to have stayed in Oklahoma a couple of messes would have been avoided. Seattle would have a team, Oklahoma would have had the team that they really wanted (No complaints about the thunder though), and New Orleans would be without a basketball team that pretty much everybody knew they couldn’t support.
