The referees show no consistency. At all. Hamilton said bad call when the first tech was given. I guess he deserved the second tech since he said bullsh*t. I thought the rule was in place for an overt reaction. I like how the officials stare at the players, just waiting to hear themselves blow their whistles. The officiating in the Lakers previous game against the Bucks was horrible. Kobe was given a flagrant foul on play that wasn’t even flagrant. Odom was given a technical for giving Gooden a nudge, with the latter flopping all over the place. David Stern doesn’t offer much of a guideline about what the refs consider to be a technical. Everything is in a gray area right now.

It’s called forcing NBA players to act like responsible adults, not little spoiled brats. It’s obvious that a whining little tea bagger like yourself will never be able to act like a responsible adult, nope you just crybaby like a spoiled little brat – a subservient robot Braindead Beckerhead!

I like the new NBA rules to stop the incessant crybabying from the players. Now they play more like professional adults instead of whining little spoiled brats! Now Rip Hamilton has to grow up and act like an adult or he’ll be getting ejected more often. I’m glad that David Stern has cleaned up the NBA’s act and can only hope that other pro sports follow suit, especially pro baseball with those childish false brawls when both benches empty out on the field for a bunch of immature posturing.

it makes digesting the police state easier if we watch heroes bow down to authoritarianism on TV every night…”see kids, any attempt to show emotion or be anything other than a robot subservient to the fascist agenda will not be tolerated”…that Stern is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations surely has nothing to do with this

If he dropped an f bomb after the first “T” he probably deserved to get run. Guys are going to have to learn to walk away after a “T”, there is no future in arguing. And to be honest, I’m so tired of the posturing and soap operas that we’ve come to expect after every call taht I really don’t have a problem with this rule. The players will figure it out.
That being said, the NBA refs are the worse in pro sports and allowing them to “T” up anyone for anything isn’t going to solve the leagues problem with perceived bias and actual incompetence the fans witness every night..
