Charlotte is having a rough start to the season (again), what with the 1-6 record and loss to the Spurs on Monday. Part of the problem is the defense that carried them last year just isn’t the same so far this season.

But Gerald Wallace can still block shots. Like few others.

If it’s defense they want, and block in particular, why are they waiting to start Tyrus Thomas? The guy is waitinggg to break out and puts up great per minute numbers, especially blocks!!

Crash (Gerald Wallace) has been chasing down blocks for almost a decade in the NBA. People aren’t that aware of him, but he’s very athletic and sort of popularized the chase-down block before LeBron. It’s just too bad the guy learned how to fly but forgot to learn how to land, hence the nickname and all the injuries.
