What is with the Heat’s hand gesture?

Heat_handgesture

Did you see this last night? As the Miami Heat were destroying the Orlando Magic they kept making the hand gesture you see in the picture to each other.

What does it mean?

Shut your mouth.

That’s it, according to Mark Jackson on the ESPN broadcast. “Shut your mouth.” Both a reminder to the team that it’s actions, not talk that matter. And a little shout out to the “hater” critics.

If they keep playing like that Orlando game, nobody will be able to talk about them.

(Tas Melas at The Basketball Jones beat me to the punch on this post and found the art.)

WWWWOOOOOWWWWWW. And this is why I love my Lakers, because we don’t keep the “haters” in mind when we play. We keep the championship in mind.

And yet you care enough to make a post on it. Yes you are one of those people who the hand signal was directed to. “Hater” umm yea i’m sure you know the difinition of that.

And in the offseason some think about raping women, soliciting to prostitutes, while others just abuse women.

Good grief that’s a hilarious post.

Laker fans are the most sensitive littles fairies in the basketball world.

Dare say one bad thing about their team or their precious Mamba and thousands of them come over the hills, frothing at the mouth, ready to scream why you’re wrong.

You go Chalmers, James Jones, Haslem, Eddie House- tell them haters to shut up. Because you know, nobody (a) cares about you guys and (b) don’t even know your names

…. except, you cared enough about them to make that post, and you knew their names.

      Fail, dude. Epic fail.

    Now, that’s entertainment.

I guess that’s the way things go when your franchise doesn’t have multiple titles. You guys start name-calling and add ad hominems to boot. I bet when your team gets 16 banners on your rafters, you prolly have the same mind-set as us. Fairies, my gluteus maximus.

Get some MULTIPLE TITLES FIRST. You know, like at least a back-to-back. That way, people can’t actually say that you’re just a one-hit wonder.

Otherwise, put a lid on it. Your swaggers and bravados don’t mean jack.
