For all the talk about how old the Celtics are, the Lakers aren't all that much younger. Most of the team is over 30. Kobe and Fisher have a lot of miles on them.

Old as the Celtics may be, they are deeper this year, which means more rest for them. Off the bench they have Robinson, Daniels, J. O'Neil, Glen Davis, and then Perkins when he comes back. They will be a legit 10-deep team.

The Heat looked awful, but I think they will be fine. They looked like a team that hasn't played together. They're still my pick to come out of the East come playoff time.

The Repeat World Champion Lakers played their Hollywood script perfectly, looking bad in the first half after getting their rings and then coming back in the second half to win the game in exciting fashion. We Laker fans are used to these theatrics and know that the Lakers finish strong so we don't get too worried about a first half deficit. Eat your hearts out Heatstroke fans as your overhyped team lost to the Ancient Celtics and realize that the first game of your season is just a harbinger of the last game of the playoffs your loser team will play. Look for a repeat of the Celtics-Lakers next June and Leboring James, the King of Choke, will be watching from his couch as always. Kobe Bryant is the greatest basketball player in the world and the Repeat World Champion Lakers will Threepeat next June!
