Kobe Bryant was pretty dang good back in high school, too

Sep 22, 2010, 3:25 PM EDT

Thanks to the people at SLAM, who broke out the Kobe Bryant at Midnight Madness as a high school player video. When he dropped 43 and showed all sorts of flash and flare. Like him or don’t, the guy can flat out ball.

43 points? Didn’t Cheryl Miller drop 100 points in a high school game? Didn’t Al Bundy score 4 touchdowns in 1 game?
    Kobe, I am disappoint.

MSNBC sports columnist Mike Celizic passed away. Great piece on him: http://bit.ly/bNhPDd

he had some nice handles, but 2 things. 1) that looked like a team on team scrimmage and not a real game. 2) as nice as his handles were, it looked like he had no left hand at all back then. rewatch the video, you dont see him use the left one time (and he was still killing).

c’mon buck, I watch a lot of high school players and trust me talent like that doesn’t come along very often (taking your two criticism into account), I would have loved to have been in the gym when he worked out for Jerry West.

So, where is this kid going to college. Should be a One and Done.
BTW, I’m looking for some NBA scouting work if anybody knows anyone.
