Clevelands hatred for lebron is misunderstoood. We dont hate him for “simply switching teams”. Yes the city was heartbroken he chose to leave. He was like a god to cleveland and the only hope we had. We are upset over the reasons he left and the way he did it. He is selfish for leaving for a championship. He is only 26 he still has years to play. it would be a real accomplishment to be loyal to your team and take them. after he did that he would have a right to leave. he could have had a championship this past year if he hadnt decided to so obviously give up in the playoffs. But the main reason we are so upset with him is the way he made his “decision”. He had cleveland really believing he would stay when he knew he wasnt going to, and the wait and expectations left us with noone. And ps. it wasnt a better decistion for his family. they just recently finished building there house in Fairlawn and from what i hear they are staying here while hes there.

People are amazing and very selfish to get upset a grown man for making decisions that he feels is right for him and his family. I can understand a Cavs fan being hurt or upset but some of the things i’ve heard and read that were being said about him is rediculous. If you ask me race wasn’t an issue until he left, that’s when the fans of Cleveland showed thier true nature.

I’m gonna say this once and for all. Never compare Lebron to Jordan. Lebron was gifted with physical stats at an age that most people let alone rookies in the NBA have. Do younger legs run faster? Most of the time! With each generation do we have superstars of course. His stats are damn good. O.K. great. Now what maybe the harsh reality. 1. Lebron’s stats in Cleveland where a direct result of having ALOT of mediocre players thats why its called “big fish in a small pond.” I think Lebron really thought he was going to get a ring in his first couple of years and so did many of you people. Marketing is “King” How did he get a moniker like that with no college games or pro games. Once again ” big fish in a high school pond”. If his basketball mind had been as accelerated as his growth he would be a large version of Kobe but still half the player. Lebron is not a leading man… yet?! My guess is he will play “Pippen” and not Jordan when its over. Even then those are “Man” sized shoes to fill. – “The king has no clothes”

Michael Vick – Hated for dog fighting.
Tiger woods – Hated for cheating on his wife.
Terrell Owens – Hated for being a homophobe
Chad Ochocinco – Hated for being too emotional
Kobe Bryant – Hated for winning and cheating on his wife
Lebron James – Hated for switching teams.
Seriously are these are the worst crimes any athlete has done.
So bad that they are the most hated athletes in America.
And there are no other popular athletes out there who have done worse?

I am a black male who also is a Kobe bryant fan and i couldn’t disagree more with the statement of white people disliking kobe more. We do buy jerseys and tickets but not more than white people. I live in milwaukee one of the whitest and segregated cities in the U.S. I got to the Lakers-bucks game (in 2008-2009) early and stood near the entrance, a half hour went by before one single person had on a non kobe bryant jersey. in fact it was so bad the local newspaper had an article for the game this past season (2009-2010) litterally asking people where is the support for the home team and players? If you have league pass and watch the LA road games its the same in EVERY city except for Boston. I vivdly remember the last season Michael was with the Bulls and there was always a huge amount of cheers for only him in every city, it is the exact same for Kobe. if you don’t believe me order NBA League pass and see for yourself

Who cares about Leboring James….or for that matter pro basketball. Its glory days are far behind. Tattooed punks with a great deal of wealth ho won’t play if tey have a hangnail. It is a waste of time to tune in and certainly a waste of hard earned money to watch them play in person.
The prioritesin this country are very skewed when owners pay million for pople to put a ball in a hole… while there are so many socal problems.
Lebron James did what he thought was right… i applaud him for that. However, he traded his legacy of a a great player for championships.. it will not matter now how many championships he wins, how many scoring titles, how many MVP’s …he will go down in history as a person who sold ut to win all of those material things and therefore will alwyas be know forever and all time as a self centered loser with lots of hardware….the world will be better off when he finally contracts an incurable disease and passes from the face of the earth!

Help? He wanted help? Where did the Cavs finish in the standings? He didn’t want help, he wanted the easy route. He wanted the pressure off of him and on others. Miamia is, and always will be, Dwayne Wade’s team as long as he is there. LeBron’s shoulder’s couldn’t handle the expectations!! No worries, I know Dwayne Wade can…he’s been there, done that against my Mavs. Go ahead, give LeBron a paper trophy and let him parade around thinking he won something. Heck, we could just let his Heat play a division II schedule to make it even easier on him!! Thank goodness he doesn’t do the NBA schedule or they probably would.
