Not much you can really take away from a game both teams treated like an exhibition, save that it is a lot of fun to watch Team USA in the open court.

The best part of the highlights was not hearing Franschilla’s commentary. Because of him, I now believe the US has been duped into a false sense of confidence, which they are going to be disabused of when Greece and Spain decide to compete as hard as they can and use all their strategic bag of tricks.
I also believe, because of Franschilla, that Ante Tomic is going to be the next Pau Gasol. It doesn’t matter that Tomic is 23 and not even a star in Europe. The NBA is easy stuff for Euros.
