Lakers will be better off without this BUM!! Good riddens! Please trade this guy. He has gotten worse since the Lakers gave him $5 million/ yr. No one can honestly say he is worth that! Ridiculous! Hope he saved his money cause he’ll never see that type of money ever again. Looking back at it, we could’ve given that to Ariza and still sign artest or somebody else.

Sasha can have moments were he can be called a great player. The self proclaimed “Machine”, certainly makes a team better. He’s improved every year since he’s been sporting the Purple and Gold. Him and Kobe are tight, however, this year, he was in the doghouse because he wouldn’t apologize to one of the Lakers’ coaches. As you can say he’s fallen out of favor, but as you all saw, He delivers. His 2 free throws in game 7, in intense pressure, shows what he can bring to the table. In terms of what you said, about him competing with Shannon for minutes, you are correct to a certain degree. In my opinion, he plays better defense, he certainly has an superior understanding of the Triangle offense. Shannon on the other hand, sometimes he relies too much on his out of this world jumping and athletic prowess, and instigates his own offense game, instead of the team’s. I believe Sasha is going to have a big year, and all this trade talk is going to go away. If not, and he does get traded, I’m sure Maria can make him feel better and put a big smile on his face.
