Sorry but WHY would Portland trade him to the Lakers? I mean lets be realistic here…WHY would they do such a thing? And for Sasha? Id rather trade Rudy for a bag of chips than for Sasha. Trade him to the Lakers to make them even MORE dangerous? To make him “happy” to be reunited with his friend Gasol?

He wants out because he wants MORE playing time? Rudy is a SHOOTING GUARD. Dont you guys have a guy by the name of KOBE BRYANT? Meaning Rudy will play just as much or LESS than he did in Portland. Please make SOME sense here and understand the reason for Rudy being unhappy. In other words, READ THE ARTICLE, Process it in your minds, understand what is going on, THEN suggest a LOGICAL idea if you would at all.

I said before that his talents are extremely tough to analyze or quantify, and this sulk-fest he's been going through the past year or so that's intensified this summer doesn't make him look any better. Because it's tough to evaluate what he actually brings to the table, all of these comments from his camp only make him that much harder to trade. Ive been a trail blazer fan all my life. And I am fed up with this stupid feud Rudy is having with the Blazers. He has been a decent player, fills a need for Portland as his shooting is great, however him being this way, I prefer him stay in Spain and never play in the NBA again.
Under the CBA rules, I believe if portland does not release him and Rudy does not come to portland, he will NOT be eligible to player for any other team even in Europe. A player who could be close to or is in his prime to sit out 2 years and make NO money is just a stupid move by him.
What has Rudy done in the NBA to act this way anyway? Also if he had kept his mouth shut it is possible he could have been or will be traded. Such remarks just totally destroyed his trade value. I dont know how i could support this AHole ever again, if he DOES report to training camp and suits up for Portland, expect LOTS of Boos.
