The NBA is the only industry I know of that goes out of its way to piss all over the very consumers who they want to buy the product. It will be interesting to see what the Neilson ratings look like for the regular season.

You know it’s a slow news day when a columnist makes a big deal out of nothing. It’s the frickin’ offseason, Mr. Winderman, so I don’t see anything wrong with doing an 1-hour show announcing some of the most-anticipated games of the year and giving basketball fans something to talk about. And it’s obvious you won’t find teams like Nets or Wolves. There’s a reason they’re called MARQUEE games, you genius.

It’s all about the $$’s and the national ratings……how many people outsite of Toronto & New Jersey would tune in for a matchup of those 2 powerhouses LOL???? Lakers vs Celtics again at the end of it all playing for the title in 2011 seems about right!
