Shaq is crazy to ask for 8Mil a year, like terry said “hes way past his prime” take what u can get, or retire like ur suppose to, and its just that simple….

exactly which is why we need to either sign Camby or find another diamond in the ruff that can play C. I’m leaning more towards signing Camby then finding the diamond.

In his prime Shaq was a monster, but he is WAY past his prime.
“O’Neal had perhaps the worst season of his career last year, but he’s also only a year removed from putting up 17.8 points and 8.4 rebounds per game, with a PER (what is that?) of 22.33.”
And he is another year older – he is over the hill. $8 mill per year and a guaranteed starting spot? Absurd. If his pride won’t let him accept anything less – that’s his problem.
