Brown will not be a super star ever i like him i think we should rsign him he playes hard nose defense good team defence and he also gets the crowed into games with his dunks witch is underated getting the crowed into a game brings more energy to team. He is a good pick up for the Lakers Sasha will be gone at end of year or hopefully by trade deadline and that will give Brown more min. Should tranlate into consistany i hope i like him and think he is a little underated.

Ya i agree Lakers are not lucky to have Luke garbage Walton he is no good cant shoot can’t hardly rebound and is a defensive liability at best. His passing is sceptical every ten passes is a good one sometimes.

Sometimes shannon brown shows kobe bryant like athleticism, he will only get better and i feel in the future he will be handed the torch from kobe a lead future championship teams for the lakers, on a team with him as the star of the future lakers after kobe has retired

Shannon Brown was as inconsistent as Farmar and can’t shoot, pass, handle the ball or defend and this is now his 4th year in the NBA, what makes anyone think he’s going to get better. I don’t understand why Mitch let a future star like Jeremy Lin go, he has way more talent than Brown and hasn’t even played 1 year in the NBA !! The only thing Brown can do halfways right is Dunk but he was really more of a liability than an asset, wake up Mitch, there’s many more guards available that can help the Lakers other than Brown. Sign T-Mac for instance.

I’m afraid its time to let Walton go. He is really a nice guy, but no longer productive. Give him a job as a scout, or train him in the front office. The Lakers need to develop some talented young players for the future. Be smart, sign Shannon Brown, and those two second round picks at the foward position as reserves for development.

HOW CAN U BASH LUKE?
He’s done awesome for us as a role player. Stepping in for kobe and just being a hustle guy. Pops you are right for ‘what he is’ a role player he does a good job. With limited minutes it’s always hard to get into a groove.
That being said it probably is time to let walton go. His back problems and unproductivity from last season. I just don’t get where the negativity and ignorance is coming from. Plus I like Walton’s dad. You should respect the retired greats.You guys have no sense of history. That’s what the Lakers are about…history, dynasty

Luke walton is an OK or average player, but nothing special!! Shannon brown is better than him, and showed it in the playoffs this past season.. Matt barnes is an excellent defender and is also better than luke walton.. im excited to see what the lkers will do next season…. they will 3 peat….

You are exposing your own ignorance. We all have preferences and no player – I mean no player – makes an NBA squad without talent. Also, no player is used by a coach in key situations unless he brings something needed to the table.

Shannon Brown is a very good player, gives 100% every night. The only problem he plays behind Kobe and so much for playing time. Luke Walton is a good player for what his job is. He plays just like his dad. Will dive for a lose ball and very hard playing on defence. Lakers are very lucky to have a player like Luke.
