Lebron wants to run the point- if he does, think about this line-up.
SG- Wade
SF- Haslem
PF- Bosh
C - Ilgauskus, Juwan Howard, Joel Anthony, Jamaal Magloire
That would be a SQUAD !!!
The Heat DEFINITELY will not need Marbury. Marbury would have to play behind Mario Chalmers and even Carlos Arroyo. But I beleive Marbury would be a good back-up on any team, IF he still has NBA legs and is willing to be a role player.

@waywithwords: You are assuming that Marbury told the truth about the Heat contacting him, I have serious doubts about that one. And alledgedly they contacted him before James announced his decision? Yeah right ...

Rob, the conclusion of your text does not even support your provocative headline.
Besides, why would Riley even WANT Starbury?
Wow ... This Miami Hype experiment is doomed to failure.
Seems like Riley is the batty one here. After shafting the Knicks, is he so obsessed with overcoming his (former) Lakers that he is willing to risk everything on a high stakes roll of the dice? Apparently so. And in so doing, he's forgotten about the importance of chemistry & DEFENSE & REBOUNDING.
The glamorous Lakers won another ring due to their size, length, chemistry & defensive intensity:
Sounds like Marbury is simply wise enough to know he'd be the first to take the blame when things inevitably go very, very wrong.
DEFENSE & REBOUNDS WIN RINGS!
