I agree and would go so far as to say that the NBA owes Seattle a team before they do anything else in terms of re-location or expansion. If it weren’t for Clay Bennett stealing your team from you guys, I believe the Sonics would be back on track to turning a profit because I know you all would be turning out in force to watch Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and the rest become a force to challenge the Lakers.
If I were a player, I would much rather rise to superstardom in Seattle than Oklahoma City.
However, I do not think it’s far-fetched to think that the Maloofs have their eye on Seattle. No way the taxpayers will fund a new arena in Sacramento when the state is in the fiscal crapper.

Please don’t tease me with articles like this. I remain heartbroken that the Sonics (and the Durantula) left town. We deserve to have a team. Thanks for opening up old wounds.
