No they won’t win nothing not next year they got a long way to go… The lakers will kill them in the post they are way too soft in the hole even with Udonis Haslem…. Bynum and Gasol will destroy Illgauskes and Bosh kobe will outshine wade and lebron will be having to worry about the antics of Ron Artest who will be guarding him if Kobe isn’t going to himself… And for the comment about the bulls… the bulls are a better overall team even without the addition of Wade, Bosh, or Lebron im glad we didn’t get any of them we got our star in Derrick Rose…The Bulls are a solid team and with a couple more moves they are on the same level as the heat…… Yes i am from CHICAGO if you have’t guessed it by now…. and by the way you saying go Heat… Im willing to bet that you all are a borderline fans that hops on the favored side.. You probably didn’t even like the heat until they got Lebron and Bosh… and nobodies hating on the Heat, its they way it was done… Real fans could care less about them teaming up….its yall band wagon fans who hopped on they dick cause they got Lebron…..Where was yall when Wade was running by himself the last coupla years…. and i coulda sworn that there were other teams in the east like Orlando, Milwaukee,Boston, and Chicago that are credible threats to the heat they all got better.. The lakers got better the heat are not a team yet i give it a year or two before they actually win a championship

One thing Lebron get to play with his superstar friends while you guys cannot stop crying.LeBron would have never won a championship without hooking up with another superstar. The one characteristic that Magic, Bird and Jordan ALL shared was this – in crunch time they DEMANDED the ball. More often than not they delivered. They were all three primarily known for that trait. It’s obvious that that is not the case for LeBron.
Sam Smith said that that rumor about the Bulls’ having refused to accommodate Lebron’s friends is not true, but it is well known that such was the case with Cleveland.
In Lebron’s defense – he has been coddled this way since he was about 14 years old, when his incredible athletic talent became obvious. He just doesn’t know any better, and I kind of pity him. Sooner or later reality will arrive and that will be interesting.
I can’t see Wade and Bosh being too pleased with the arrangement, not to mention the rest of the peons on the team. This has all the signs of something that will either yield more than a few titles or blow up in their faces, or both.
I personally hope it blows up in their faces, yields no titles and attendance at Heat games after the initial surge remains low.

it is funny. I was just watching Sportscenter and at the bottom of the screen it talks about Michael Jordan saying that he would never call up Magic or Bird and say let’s get together and play on the same team. He said that things have changed and he is not saying that is a bad team but frankly, he always wanting to beat those guys in stead of playing with him.
That is spoken like a competitor. To be honest, I think alot of people expected 2 of the stars to get together, but not all 3. I don’t think that we would have had this conversation if Lebron went to Chicago with Rose and Bosh and Wade played together. Then you would still have your 2 main stars on each team with alot of good players around them.
Even before all of this happened, I always talked about the way Lebron was. He looks like a young man that has always been the center of attention and doesn’t know anything else. I still haven’t found a like for him because of the way he always displayed himself. I watch him doing those little picture/camera moments and things like that and I shake my head. That is cute when you are in high school, but in the NBA, it is not cute. You can’t blame him because it has been like this since he was young. Maybe one day he will humble himself but I doubt it because he is sooooo ruined. When I heard him talking about the incident of not shaking the players hands last year and his responses around it, I figured he wouldn’t make it too far in this years playoff. It’s kind of like “Karma”.
The other thing is I would never tell a person how to spend their money, but why is he buying a 49 million home? Isn’t that a little over kill. Crazy. It might be chump change to him but come on is it really necessary. Oh well, I guess you only live once.
Anyways, I really like Dwayne Wades style so I wish him luck, but I’ve never been a LeBron or Bosh fan. Anyways, the season will start in November and we will see what happens. I just really feel sorry for their coach because he will probably be fired within the 1st year or midway – the second. i hope that Doc Rivers doesn’t go there to coach though. He has good chemistry in Boston.

You forget LeBron was a superstar in Cleveland. We don’t have many of those and therefore while he was here management as well as the media treated him with kid gloves. Whatever LeBron wanted he got. That was one of the reasons Dan Gilbert felt so betrayed. His star player was spoiled rotten and he had allowed it thinking it would add to that hometown appeal when it was time to resign. There is nothing worse than a spurned owner or fans for that matter. Now it comes out that LeBron was consulted on every player and coach that Gilbert hired. His friends were given carte blanche as well. You can bet that the fans as well as Gilbert have learned from this experience. He was a terrible tipper and even left places without paying his bill. We created a monster here and I don’t think he’s going to change in Miami. National media had some part in that as well fawning on him from the time he was in high school. He has tremendouse talent but the integrity and ethics of a worm. I only hope the next superstar we have in this town will treat those who pay him with more respect.

He always thought he was bigger than the game, the make believe movies he would make and pictures he pretended to take at game time.
I have never saw Jordan, or Kobe do this type of egostical thing , he may win some championships , but there will always be an astrik
as he could not accomplish this without switching to a team filled with 2 more superstars and not developing a team in Cleveland that would have been his, and there is always injuries to worry about, better get to it L B J you only have about 10 good yrs left to get 6 LOL

I’m glad the Bulls showed the proper integrity and told LeBoring his cluless friends weren’t welcome in their organization. Obviously the HeatStroke organization isn’t so honest and I’m disappointed in Pat Riley for falling so low after being such a winner with the Lakers. We all know that David Stern is the most corrupt NBA commissioner of all time and he won’t investigate LeBoring James’s illegal shenanigans because he doesn’t care about integrity, just money. The Repeat World Champion Lakers will crush the cheaters from Miami if they get to the NBA Finals next year, but I’m betting that Boston or Orlando will keep the Three Duds and their pathetic posse from getting there.

Any championships in Miami will not be LeBrons championships, they will be Wades championships. Wade needed a sidikick and he got a good one. Wade is a leader, LeBron is not. Wade is a closer, LeBron is not. LeBron IS a choker, Wade is not. If LeBrons ego can accept being a sidekick on Wades team then they will probably win some championships. That is if they assemble a good supporting cast.

Oh and just to mention, the “Kobe rape allegations” were completely false. 3 semens in the underwear, none of them Kobe’s, plus witnesses and text messages saying how the girl was happy and bragging to everyone about “doing” Kobe, plus much more evidence, plus character evidence == totally obvious to everyone that Kobe was innocent, that the charges were bogus, and that the Colorado DA was a bitter racist. HELLO that is 100% the truth. That Kobe made that girl a millionaire instead of dragging her through her own mud in court was as much a courtesy on his part as it was a legal formality between the two legal teams. Anyways, if you like basketball, you like Kobe, and you like Lebron. If you like to complain about rich athletes, then I recommend some angry hater sites or something.

Going to Miami was a perfect, and perfectly simple, decision for Lebron. It is a brilliant move, pairs him with 2 other superstars in a hot, east coast NBA city, with a Hall of Fame GM. *boom* And he saves bucks with no state taxes. And he makes a big splash with moving across to a new super-team. If he would’ve stayed in Cleveland it would’ve been *yawn* totally boring and underwhelming. It was an awesome decision, and I actually didn’t see it — I thought for sure NY, and possibly Cleveland. I couldn’t see the Miami decision, just as most people on this thread and elsewhere apparently still can’t see it. So, apparently Lebron is either super lucky, or he was pushed in this direction by elite marketers and business strategists (Gatorade, Nike, NBA, etc). Watch, next year, this Miami thing will be awesome, and BIG NEWS every game they play. I’m going. Y’all can sit around and whine about Lebron’s “brand” if you want to LoL.

To Miami fan. You’re pissing on an electric fence. I’m a Cleveland fan but I haven’t been a Leconceded fan for a long time. As much fun as it was to watch him play, I personally couldn’t get over his love of himself and the inconsideration of others. The world is his toilet. If he was double jointed, he would probably hose himself down before loving any woman. I’m glad he’s gone. I’d rather lose than watch the arrogance all of the time. He “is” one of the top players though in the world. Miami might or might not get that championship next year but it will be soiled. The 3 players in question did plan this whole thing out so they could be with each other. Any championship will be looked at as “prearranged”. Not to mention, he really stuck it to the Cleveland fan base especially with the timing of the announcement to Miami.
I wonder if the shoe was on the other foot, what would you feel like. If Miami had no money to allocate to free agency and Wade made an infocommercial saying he was going to Chicago. He does this by not telling his teammates or the owner or anybody. The whole world hears about it at the same time including friends and family and the team owner. He does this after most of the other major free agents have already been signed.
Good luck Miami fan. My feeling is they won’t get by Chicago, Orlando, or Boston.

The only thing that matters going forward for LeBron is whether he wins championships. If he does, all this other stuff will die down and largely be forgotten.
Heck, if rape allegations don’t do a player in, then leaving Cleveland sure won’t either, whether on a TV program, or through a revolutionary approach to free agency–a strategy driven by the players themselves. If he wins, history may actually judge ‘Bron’s maneuvering as “pioneering,” and “Innovative.” The winners write the history.
If the Heat win, they’ll have the last laugh. If not, now that will tarnish one’s brand.
