Is there a salary cap in the NBA? They just keep signing guys for millions per year. Not to mention, LeQuitters buddies…

Why look at Blair in regards to Pittman, a better example is right where he is. Udonis Haslem was at 300+ at some point and got himself into shape to salvage his NFL career. If that along with the strict requirements Riley puts on body fat percentages and Alonzo Mourning being involved n player development with the Heat should certainly help Pittman get into shape, or rather if he doesn’t manage it in this constellation he probably never will.

I can’t wait to see these guys on the floor. LeBron proved to us in Cleveland that he can take under-average NBA players/staters and make them, at the least, effective on the basketball court (see JJ Hickson). Add Wade and Bosh to that, I don’t see how this team isn’t in the top 2 in PPG. I really hope they give Pittman some minnutes early in the season to get his feet wet. He could be a great center.
Man the Southeast division is going to be BRUTAL..oh as well as the Bulls, Celtics..

Agreed, find a better example.
While undersized, Joel is a very good shot blocker. He has frying pans for hands and can’t catch a pass or make a shot to save his life, but hustle for loose balls and plays good d. Glad to see he’ll be around for this.
