Shannon Brown close to deal to return to Lakers

With Bell clotheslining Kobe one more time and heading to Utah, the Lakers are moving closer to a deal to bring Shannon Brown back into the fold, according to Yahoo Sports.

Lakers general manager “Mitch [Kupchak] and I have been talking and we’re getting there on something,” said Brown’s agent, Mark Bartelstein.

The Lakers know what they are getting with Brown — 20 minutes of reasonable production off the bench, and a guy who can finish on the break. They need that. The Lakers are not getting any younger and they need some pure athleticism injected into the lineup.

That’s what they’ll get with Brown. And some dunks.

Love Shannon! Some work on his jumper and he is a pretty decent way to spell Kobe at times.

    Hey Kurt,
whats wrong with FB&G, is the site down on purpose or is it an accident?

That’s what’s up. We need to have the dynamism that this guy provides. Throw it up and let him wake crowds up. I’m a fan of this signing.

Fine. Just please god, no more slam dunk contest campaigns.

He looks great on his dunks but his shooting percentage is not very good.He needs work on the rest of his game, especially his defense. He gets lost alot.
