All of this anti Jesse Jackson rhetoric is just uninformed and biased noise. How many of you walked with MLK when it was life threatening to do so. How many of you were there to see a beloved leader executed by a sniper. How many of you brokered the release of American pilots in the middle east? How many of you have withstood the onslaught of ridicule for attempting to be the one of the 1st persons of his ethnicity to seek the presidency? While he is not a perfect individual he has personally paved the way for millions of Americans to feel a bit more included in this society and his opinions will always be relevant.

Rev. Jesse L. Jackson is not a racist. He is one of the greatest human rights activist in WORLD history. He will always be relevent to me and to a lot of other people for that matter. He is entitled to his opinion and I agree with him on this matter. Dan Gilbert acts as though he owns the Clevland Cavaliers AND LeBron James. I find it strange that David Stern critizes LeBron's "Decision" show when literally millions of dollars were donated to the Boy and Girls Club of America as a result of that show. Stern should be thanking LeBron for turning the media circus about his decision into an act of kindness towards kids instead of throwing one of his players under the bus.

Jesse Jackson is a moron, and no one has givin a crap about what he says or does for years now. He is the racist. He continues to get involved with matters that have nothing to do with race. The new generation of children don't need to hear a word he says, it will only corrupt their minds. His mind still lives in a world full of hate and whips. When will we all learn, we are all the same: Human.

My mother is a white German, My father is blackman from Ghana, so I do not understand racism nor I ever will, so Jesse Jackson please get out of this discussion, this is basketball not civil rights fight, we won that long time ago, Obama is in the WHITE house and you should just retire and let all of us young folks who dont care about your grudges move on. That being said, I do undestand business, and despite Lebron James being a traitor, a narcist and a very unmature person, he did help Cleveland earn lots and lots of money he won millions and fame for Mr. Gilbert whatever his last name is, and the city of Cleveland, he made them relevant again, so from a business perspective I refuse to feel sorry for the Cavs owner or the City of Cleveland, therefore, I'm not against Lebron decision, I am against the way he handle it, because eventhough this was a business decision, the little 8 and 7 years old with his jersey and his posters on their rooms do not understand business so he owed it to them to be more professional about his approach, kind of like, at the end of the Boston series, after that cold shower he took, just give his club owner a courtesy call and say ... look, lunch tomorrow, I had it, I want out, and I want you to be the first to know and I also want you to help me break this down to the Cleveland fans, specially kids who dont understand any better. The Decision show, very stupid idea.

The only way it became racial is because the Rev. Jackass made it so. While it may have been a little over the edge to hint about "quitting," Gilbert's accusations were directed at a player, not a race. The "I own you" mentality about which the bogus Reverend refers, is not at all suggested by Gilbert's comments. Cleveland helped make LeBron James what he is today, and the owner has every right to speak his displeasure in the way that he turned the league - which should be bigger than any individual player - into a made for TV reality show.
I can't wait until the even more viciously racist "Reverend" Al Sharpton decides he can't be upstaged by Jesse and comes out with his passively aggressively racist in reverse statement.
Last but not least - the media create the platform for these dolts. Without it, none of them would be anywhere near relevant.

I am an Afrian American, and I would say that few Whites and Blacks give credance to what Jesse Jacksons says. However, Jesse Jacksons comments shouldn't be received as, "Oh there go Blacks playing the Black card again." Jesse Jackson is just one older man with his own opinions. Reldan,I disagree that people think that black leaders cannot be racist. That may be true of uneducated people, but many informed Americans understand that racism is not exclusive to blacks, whites, or any other ethnicity. BACK TO SPORTS- I was born in Cleveland and negative sentiment will always exist for Lebron not because he left, but for how he left. King Colt Mccoy is now the saviour of Cleveland Sports, and I think that later comment has me a bit sick.

Please, PLEASE tell me what he has done to eliminate or reduce racism? Would it be his hatred of the Jews? His hatred of whites? Jackson's "voice against racism?" By making racist comments about whites and Jews? These are both well-documented. I'm so tired of this backwards thinking that Black leaders cannot be racist. His values have not changed, he is still a hateful man who hides behind his "coalition." Does no one else think that by making these "slave" comments that he is only perpetuating the stereotypes about whites?
