Al Jefferson would be going to FANTASTIC coaching, not subpar coaching. Everybody's gotta hate on the Warriors. I'd love to have him at any rate, although it'd be a shame to see Monta Ellis go.

This isn't hard to figure out to a Wolves fan.... Kahn wants up-tempo. He wants Ricky Rubio leading a fast-paced team that will transition to the triangle in the half-court. He loves Kevin Love and his outlet passing, and is searching for a center that can run and play facing the basket (i.e. Darko, god help us all...). Big Al does not fit in this type of game. He's a back-to-the-basket monster that would have fit in well in the days of Olajuwon-Ewing-Robinson, but has precious few places to go in today's NBA. He won't fit in in Golden State any better, unless they are having a change in philosophy. The perfect place for Al?? San Antonio. Duncan is nearing his end. Is there a better player to continue the tradition of the true isolation post man in the NBA today??
And for the Celtic fans.... I am a huge KG fan, and I think he's well-deserving all the acclaim he has ever recieved and then some. But as his career progressed here in Mn, we came to realize something. He is not The Man. What he is is the greatest supporting player to ever live. He's remarkably consistent and will give you 20-10-5 year in and year out, and play good defense to boot. But with the game on the line, he doesn't want the ball in his hands. Love KG, for the player and the person he is, but never forget.... He's the #2. The high-profile, fan-favorite #2 that plays like a #1. And hope that your front office is scouring the globe for anyone who can even approach the player he is, because as far as I'm concerned, he's more valuable to a team than any superstar out there.

Jefferson will never be KG - however, as a Celtics fan I would dearly love to have Al back!! If I was stuck in TWolf country, I might have ended up with a DUI, too!

Jefferson's DUI arrest - and suspension - earlier this year probably hasn't left Twolves management enamored with him, either. The Twolves haven't won with him - how much worst can they be without him? He's not the second coming of Kevin Garnett.

Al Jefferson was the center piece that got KG to Boston. It would be ironic if there was a chance of returning him to us while Perkins is on the mend. Any one hear rumors of that?
