terry
Wade got his ring the hard way? He had a younger productive Shaq with him when he won. What has he done since? not sayin Wade isnt a great player but he hasnt made it out of the first round or to the playoffs without someone helping him. And to say LBJ hasnt come close to a championship is untrue as well. Although the Cavs didnt win They were in ther a few years ago and made it to Confrence Champ. Thats a lot deeper in the playoffs then Dwade and the heat let alone the bulls have made it in the past 5 years.

I agree Terry. Wade should be a bigger priority for the Bulls. Forget James. He's too much of a head case and he's probably staying in Cleveland anyways. Go all out for Wade and one of the other free agent power forwards will be eager to join him. Long shot on Bosh since he wants the mega contract. Hello Houston. Wade, Rose, Noah, and maybe Boozer would still rule the east for awhile. In fact, I think Boozer's temperment is a better fit. How ironic if Wade ends up boxing James out. Still a long shot because Wade owns Miami. The big three in Boston made more sense because KG and Allen were more humble. With James, Wade and Bosh you get three super egos and that's why this hasn't been a slam dunk. These players can't help but obsessing about their own self-interest. Not a great start for any kind of team synergy. In the meantime, the Lakers are quietly improving the league's top team with the addition of Steve Blake. Yes, Kobe is a great player because he wants to be the go to guy. He's also a better leader than these other elite players.

Here's how I see it - of the 'big three' Wade is the ONLY one with a ring. He got it the hard way - Miami was getting dusted by Dallas in 2006 until Wade just flat out took over the series. Bosh has never come CLOSE to doing that, neither has James. James has too much baggage. The Bulls (I am a Bulls fan) should sign Wade, let the whole world know about it and wait for the phone to ring. Preferably David Lee, But Wade and Bosh would be nice. For all the hype James IMO is NOT the best of the three.
I don't like Kobe Bryant but he IS a great player, greater than anyone these days, and the main reason is simple - when crunch time arrives he says "gimme the damn ball and get out of the way". He'll find a way to win.
This whole thing is interesting to watch but I'll be glad when it's over and done.
