Ugh, what a dumb post, if I want to read questionable Wolves analysis that involves the expert science of just counting the number of players that play the same position, I'll go read Bill Simmons, at least he also offers some originality, unlike this tool. Really lazy work here.

Here's the point: acquiring Lee long term then makes Love a trade asset. If he can, Kahn will trade Jefferson for an expiring contract so that he can sign Lee long term. At that point, he will turn around and offer New Orleans Love, Brewer, and the rights to Rubio for CP3. Here would be the T-Wolves roster including depth:
PG - Paul/Flynn/Sessions
SG - Webster/Ellington/Sessions
SF - Johnson/Webster
PF - Lee/Pek
C - Darko/Pek
Rubio who? The Wolves wouldn't have any money left, but they have a young complimentary lineup: 1 superstar(CP), 1 perennial all-star(Lee), quality athletic role-players(et al), and some younger players who could develop into strengths(Johnson/Flynn) or other trade assets for future roster considerations.
This would benefit the Hornets as well, as long as they've decided to devote a few years to shuffling the pieces around in order to create a contender. They would have the assets to turn the corner faster rather than simply blow it all up and start over. It would be a win/win for both sides.

I think Matt could be on to something. That would create a formidable frontcourt for the Knicks and the Wolves get something back in return. Now how to address the point guard situation? hhmmm!!!!!
