I don’t think we will get either coveted PF in a sign and trade, Bosh is a BS talker and Amare wants to be in Miami or NY. I expect to see us try and get a 2nd Tier player now to fill in the voids. Maybe we can pull a sign and trade for Carmelo……that would be Niceeeeeee!

Yeah…that makes no sense. I know Bryan Colangelo is an idiot and may end up taking it, but why? They don’t get any draft picks or young players. Only Battier would be an expiring contract since Ariza is locked in for 4 more years(I believe), and presumably Scola’s deal would be multi-years. They would just toil away in mediocrity for the foreseeable future. None of them have upside. So how would that benefit Toronto?
As for Houston, they would end up losing both of their wing defenders and the defense would take a huge hit. Perhaps they’re only offering Battier or Ariza(more likely Battier) along with Scola and other parts.

nice trade for raptors or suns, not sure how good it’d be for the rockets should yao go down and then bosh or stoudemire has to play center, which neither wants to do.
