Cavs over the Rockets are you kidding? Brook is a better shooter than Mo, Martin better than West or whoever is plays the Two. Yao or even Hays, that right Hays is better than Ilgauskas and O’neal is out (what a Joke!) and our bench is better. With a new coach, you’ll be in rebuilding mode and you may not have the players to fit the system.

42 wins in the West beat the Lakers and Boston at Boston and LA. No superstars on their team. Millions of people who have money and DO pay endorsements in China. Sorry America but because they weren’t the darlings of TBS ESPN and ABC you can’t get more people then the Chinese that watches the Rockets.
If you are a superstar looking to get to the playoffs this team has more complimentary players and a deeper bench then anyone in the league. Plus the intangibles.
Tracy McGrady almost made the Allstar team last year with the votes from China and he hadn’t even played a minute!

Does nobody remember that Houston gave the Lakers the best fight they had seen in the playoffs since Boston last year? And that was mostly WITHOUT YAO. Calling Houston’s players nobodies will be a huge mistake… especially when Bosh shows up and gets Houston more national attention on tv. You’ll see what Scola, Brooks, Lowry, Martin, Yao, and all the other guys are really capable of!

The team w/ the best chance to get Bosh is Miami. Miami can re-sign Wade and fit Bosh & Rudy Gay under the salary cap. That would give them a nucleaus more than capable of winning the east & with enough room to fit their rookies and split the mid-level among a few vets to fill out their roster.

@PaulyG — Seriously … stop with the endorsement deals. LeBron makes less money now in endorsements than he did as a rookie. Athlete endorsements deals have dried up with this economy. Nobody is buying it anymore.
A player’s salary is their primary source of income and all other sources will not be considered in free agency.
Oh and I’d take the Cavs roster over Houston’s roster any day of the week.

Houston has talent if Yao stays healthy and to this point he has not. Chicago has an all-star in Rose, a compliment in Noah, and the ability to bring in more pieces.

No one can offer Bosh a better chance of winning than Houston?? Not trying to be disrespectful, but I adamantly disagree. Houston has a few good small pieces, but I think Bosh proved over the last 7 years that he can’t be the main guy, he needs to be the 2nd threat. I think Chicago is more talented at this point, but Houston does have the advantage of Bosh playing in his home state of Texas.

I 100% agree with JLT…if Bosh is serious about winning, no other team has what the Rockets have to offer. Add the fact that more people in the world watch a regular season Rockets game than a Superbowl (200 million vs 100 million), talk about a worldwide presence. Chris Bosh would be a lock-in for HUGE endorsement deals, and also for every All Star game for the next several years.

If you take Bosh at his word, he says winning is the most important thing. It appears that his suitors (Rockets, Knicks, Bulls, Heat) are capable of ultimately paying a max deal. The Rockets have the most talent on their roster and seem to be in the best position to win big, if I take Bosh at his word, it seems like he is headed to Houston.

First, picture him along the front line with Yao Ming, with that Aaron Brooks/Kevin Martin backcourt. That would instantly be the team in the West that is the biggest threat to the Lakers.
Really?
Ford suggested Jordan Hill, Aaron Brooks and the expiring contracts of Jared Jeffries and David Andersen for Bosh.
Kinda ruins that amazing lineup of nobodies.
