Loyalty has nothing to do with anything. He plays a sport, its not lif
e and death! He signed a contract based on "his" individual talent, therefore its in his own best interest that he. Find the best deal for himself. Everyone on here would do the same thing if placed in his situation. Would you really take $20 mill less than what you could potentially earn, just to make others happy?!? I'll answer that one for...... NO! I'll even put it into a scenerio that is more relevent to the average joe....... say you work for a company and they pay you an annual salary of $35,000. Now this other company comes along as says, we'll give you $175,000, bonuses, and a corner office with a view. Would you turn that offer down, because of the relationship you have with your fellow coffee drinkers in the cubicles around you?!? Again I'll answer that......NO! No one said that he and his teammates couldn't still be friends, if they were, but he could just be in a better position doing it.

Amare is not a game changer. He cant buy a O bound or a D bound when needed in critical games at the end of the game. He is one of the worst forwards ever on D. His basket ball IQ is highly questionable. He is only a scorer and thats during the game and not at the end. He has hit very few game winning shots in his entire 8 yr career with the Suns. There is a reason that during the last 3 yrs in Feb that when he was up for a trade no team in the NBA would take on his salray or give up any good players for him. He was not good enough to give up anything for. Suns should say bye. Maybe they already have by beginning to pay their bench to keep them. Like Frye for 5 yrs at 25 mil. If they pay the rest of the bench then no money for a max deal for Amare. I would not even give him the rumored 20 mil for 4 yrs. He has had 8 yrs to be the star he thinks he is but isnt. He is no Barkley or Malone. Most smart GM's that have watched the play offs the last 8 yrs wont pay Amare the max. If they do they will regret it even if his injuries dont show up again.

I have been a Suns fan since their inception. Stoudemire is a good player, not a great player. He's over- valued and over-priced. I predict he will sign elsewhere and soon realize that he is only as good as Steve Nash and the Suns system made him. Good riddance! The league is replete with players who sign elsewhere and when their stats wane, realize they should have stayed where they were. And this James, Wade and Bosh nonsense is laughable. The media laps it up. Can you imagine Magic, Bird, and Jordan "summiting" in an effort to win a championship? (At least Wade can say he's won one.) James is very talented but he should focus on the floor and not attempt to be GM, coach and player. He's played 7 years and has a 4-0 Finals sweep, a couple of MVP's, and a nice stat line to show for it. Truth be told, there is one ball. When one guy has it, the others are rendered impotent unless they do other things to help their team win. A great point guard instantly makes a team better. It is the most important position by far. Otherwise, why are these guys looking for help?
