Lebron to the Bulls (as a Bulls fan) I'm stoked about the next season. If Lebron (and Bosh) goes to Miami I will find myself drawn to the games to watch in hopes that the Bulls with the mighty Rose, Noah, and whatever free agent they can land (Stoudamire, Johnson?) could perhaps get lucky and defeat the Heat. I'm looking forward to the next season, but I'llbe looking forward to it a lot more with James, Rose, Bosh, Noah, and Deng as a starting 5.

If you live in Miami you have to look at this and drool! If you live anywhere else (and are not a Heat fan) you look at this and go, WTF? Seriously, three guys determining the fate of the NBA. I have to think that, if this were to occur, the Heat would be close to unbeatable. Why would anyone bother watching the NBA? Of course, the Yankees have tried the same thing and i hasn't worked to bring AS MANY championships as it looks like on paper they should have won. But still, if the tables were reversed and the teams were getting together to do this, it would be obvious collusion. These guys do it, and it FEELS just as scummy.
Oh well, who knows if it is even true, but it sure makes me loose some respect for the players involved.

bunch of meat head fans here.
A dynasty requires a great cast of supporting players players. Lebron and Bosh going to Miami sounds enticing but lacks imagination, what happens when the starters get into foul trouble? Will they just fall apart when the bench players hit the floor?
the yankees and cowboys have proven that throwing together high priced free agents off the market does not mean championships, it betters your chances but does not guarantee.
there seems to be more reasons why lebron would go to the bulls.
1. thibideau's defense has defeated him before, he wants to be coached and stars around the league like Kobe have respect thibideau's defense.
2. lebron DOES have children, he's not another talented playboy like Derek Jeter. Being in Chicago would provide comfort for him because he's in the mid west.
3. Derrick Rose is one of the rising stars in the league and showed him a lot in the playoffs.
4. Taj Gibson and Joakim Noah provide great defense and rebounding, more importantly hustle, which the Cavs lacked
5. I'm not sold on Chris Bosh, he might be good but he'll never be great. He scores a lot of points before his Free Agent year on a BAD TEAM! Every team has a player who has to score the points like >>>>Danny Granger
6. Jordan played in Chicago 12 YEARS AGO! A lot of people have lost respect for him because of his obvious bad relationship with the bulls front office and his Hall of Fame speech really showed the public how bad he really is.

I don't see the egos involved putting Wade, Bosh & LBJ on the same team. Not enough ball for Wade & LBJ so Bosh would never go for it. He would get more ball in LA than Miami.
Speaking of egos, as has been pointed out, would LBJ really want to play in the shadow of MJ if Chicago is his choice? If he wins five titles he is still second banana. Six and he is 'elevated' to the other guy.
NJ is interesting for several reasons but at the end of the day, a LBJ/Bosh deal in NY best fits the egos and greed. Bring two or three titles there and they are gods in Gotham.
All that said, LBJ & Amare in NY, Boozer joins Wade in Miami and Bosh is a Laker.

Of course it would be a good thing to have a superteam in the league. It has happened before, just more by draft than by free agency. Dr. J, Mo Cheeks and Moses Malone with the Sixers. Larry Bird, Kevin McHale and Robert Parrish in Boston. Magic, Kareem and Worthy in L.A. The NBA needs polarizing, dominant teams to be loved or hated by all. Look at the Yankees and the Cowboys. Anyone think it's a bad idea in those sports?

If we sign Bosh, and Lebron before Wade re-signs we are ALLOWED to go over the cap to re-sign him, as well as Udonis Haslem for that matter.
So, you and Larry Croon need to do a little research on the matter and get your facts correct.

If LeBron wants a championship next year, he should sign a contract with the Lakers. Of course he wouldn't get max dollars, but if winning is important to him why not sigh with a sure thing. Laker players and managment know how to win! After he gets the taste of one, he can then sign with the Bulls or the Heat. Besides, Laker history with Baylor, West, Wilt, Kareem, Magic, Worthy, Shaq and Kobe is much more enticing than Chicago's or Miami's.
