i bet that sergio is going to be mad that right after he goes back to spain rudy comes to his old team i will miss rudy lots but i think that is a good fit for him.

Kurt, if you ever expected anything logical out of Knicks fans, well… yeah, you get me.
Rudy would be a great fit in NY, though I don’t know how desirable the trade options would be to the Blazers unless they were looking to package them on.
BTW, Rudy’s record for threes was as a rookie, not overall. He’d be handy lining up outside alongside il Gallo.

Wow, New Yorkers are crazy. Rudy Fernandez could return both of those players if his salary was higher. Rudy Fernandez set the NBA record for 3′s made in a season. As a Blazer fan, I was really hoping that Rudy would get moved for his own sake as being being Brandon Roy will get you no where fast. I want him to succeed I really thought that New York was a great fit as the spanish connection would be revised.
But if the Knicks think they can get something for nothing here, they and their fans are commitable.

Don’t believe any of this media hyped garbage. Notice the writer puts his stamp on the article, but sites no references? Exactly, where did he get his information other than out of thin air?
There has been no talk leaked out of either organization that there’s any validity to this trade possibly happening.
In fact, talk in Portland is that Rudy’s actually on the verge of going back home overseas. NY would be one step closer, so it is possible Rudy stops in NY to visit the city on his way home.
I never believe any rumors this time of year because rarely ever does anything happen that anyone expects.

This is just a BAD idea for the Knicks. Wilson is one heck of a player, and Toney is going to turn into something… Love Rudy, but we need to develop those players.

Rudy Fernandez would be an nice & cheap addition (will make $1.25 million next year). Donnie and D'Antoni have been interested in Fernandez since last year. Would they give up a Wilson Chandler? If other PG options don't present themselves during the draft, perhaps yes. Not to mention the nearly $1 million cap save that deal presents. KnicksTweets http://knickstweets.net
