He has a reputation as a respectable defensive player, but the stats say otherwise. http://ilevy.wordpress.com/2010/03/26/bad-news-brandon/ He is athletic and capable on the ball. When you look at his defensive rotations and off the ball defensive he frequently looks lost or bored. He has the tools but his overall impact on that end is negligble at best.

You forgot that he’s a very good defender. Don’t know if I’d say All-Defense team type good, but close. Everyone preaches the greatness of Nicolas Batum because he’s hyped so much as a defender, Rush is close to as good on that end and much better offensively.

I’m sure if the Celtics wanna give them nothing in return I’m sure Larry would be willing to trade him to the Celtics. Hmmm kind of like the Timber wolves and Garnett.
