brady you truly are a schmuck, before jackson took over the teams you are referencing they were floundering franchises even with jordan and pippen they didnt have a winning team, and same with shaq and kobe they hadnt won anything in 12 years, then when he came back to the lakers gee if i remember right they were a sub 500 team until 2008 even with gasol they lost so your the punk bcuz you as usual type bs that you have no solid info on, if jackson wnet to another team his knowledge and enregy and his pure teaching talent would help any team….so loser stfu and go play with your dolls, your obviously a celtics fan whining cuz your jealous of lakers

Sounds like the Lakers left a bad taste to your mouth! Now lets analyze the the coaches who have coached those mentioned players before Phil Jackson coached them. Hmmm let’s see how many championships did they all have? ZERO, NADA, ZILCH!
Of course everyone says that Phil Jackson wouldn’t have won all those NBA Championships without them and you can’t argue the FACT that all those players wouldn’t have won WITHOUT Phil Jackson!
If he coached a losing team I’d bet he would improve the team! Winning the NBA championship with that same team may or may not happen and that’s understandable. But not to give credit where credit is due is plain stupid.
Unlike the Patriots who after getting caught stealing signals from the opposing teams, how many championships have they won since? And what about that “tuck” rule against the Raiders? That was clearly a fumble. We all know that Bilicheat can’t coach a team without his superstars either and that was already proven!

If Phil Jackson is making his decision by June 27 then it’s most likely that he is going to stick around another year for another ThreePeat. It’s always tough to quit a team that just won a championship because the lure of another is so strong. Only a fool would think he should go elsewheres, especially Cleveland. No Phil is most likely going to take a pay cut and stay. I hope that the Lakers trade away Jordan Farmar to get a really good point guard to be the starter so Fisher can become the backup. Deron Williams of the Jazz would be a good fit for the Lakers and I think he’s going to be a free agent soon. Somehow someway I’m sure that the Lakers will keep Phil around, there just isn’t any other coach that can fill Phil’s shoes!

Have you not heard this before. Did MJ, Shaq win before Phil? The answer is no. A star does not mean automatic championships. You need a guiding force to make these players to play as one. In your opinion only superstars bring championship. I disagree. Phil is the best. Live with it

BradytoMoss, lets just say that Smush Parker and Kwame Brown don’t qualify as all-stars. PJ took a team with Kwame and Smush starting to a seventh game against a #1 seed. I seem to recall a certain coach sitting with Rondo, Delonte, Perkins and Pierce in a weak east and he still didn’t make the playoffs. Say what you will but I guess Phil Jackson is such a punk that he has more rings then Russell. Taste it!!!

Hey I want coach Jackson to challenge himself and take a coaching job with a losing record. Have you all noticed he only takes jobs with allstar teams. Chicago had Jordan and Pippen and Lakers with Shaq and Kobe, Gasol. Jackson is a punk and gets too much credit.
