You know Rae, your argument is very deceptive. 15 0ut of 30 compared to 17 out of 20. Let’s put this in the proper perspective, shall we?
Do you realize how difficult it is to even reach the Finals? When other great teams have yet to reach the Finals much more win at least 1 Finals game, the Lakers have been consistent for at least the past decade, winning 4 in 9 out of the Finals appearance in 6 out of 9! THAT IS DOMINANCE. In the number of years of their existence how effective were the other teams in reaching their goal for AT LEAST A FINALS APPEARANCE? Lakers have reached the Finals 10 more than the Celtics. That’s a decade.
Given your argument, are you saying that the Chicago Bulls are even better than the Boston Celtics since out of their 6 Finals Appearance, they WON ALL 6 for a 100% record?
What about the Celtics Dynasty of the 60′s when you guys lorded it over how many NBA teams? 8? 14? That’s roughly today’s NBA Conference! Get your perspective straight.

In game 5 (arguably the most important game in the series thus far) the Lakers attempted 26 free throws, the Celts 13. Seems like the Celtics got called for a lot more fouls? Also you said the Lakers have a “descent” defense? You’re right, their defense is on the descent. Descent means on the way down, getting worse, etc. Look it up in the dictionary if you don’t believe me. And I won’t stoop to telling anyone to F off. Classy you are!

Seriously want to stick with that statement? Go look at Lakers finals records vs. Celtics finals record. They have been to 30 finals and won 15. The Celtics have been in 20 finals and won 17.

One thing is for sure, no matter what team your going for (If it aint the Celtics, then you’re an idiot); watching Kobe play is magical. He can make some shots that have a person saying ‘WTF, how did he do that?!’ He is amazing. But like I said in the beginning, Celtics in 6 cuz they have the best TEAM and the bench has been playing lights out ball! Celtics wrap it up tonight but it will be close. Man, if Allen and Rondo show along with Garnett and Pierce and the rest of this sweet Celtics team, then it wont even be close no matter how well Kobe plays.

Pau Gasol? Dude needs to just play ball, and stop ALWAYS trying to draw the foul by screaming at the top of his lungs every time he attempts a bucket. And Artest is way too tentative – if you have the shot – take it! What it comes down to is 12 men in green vs. 1 man in gold – and the Lakers are much too reliant on Kobe. I’m a born & raised Bostonian – I don’t hate the Lakers – I respect them. They make MY team play at their best, and every Boston / L.A. series has always lived up to the hype. But this ain’t the Lakers’ year. Boston’s got this wrapped up.

No predictions here. I’m just hoping that the Lakers can somehow play like they did in game 1. If they can win tonight then they’ll be likely to win game 7. This point is about the only thing that I liked about Helin’s article. He’s obviously a Celtics fan. I hate the Celtics. I’ve hated them for 50 years. And, based on some of the ridiculous calls that were made in the TD Garden, it seemed like we were back in the old Garden in 1960, when a visiting team couldn’t get fair officiating even if they brought their own refs with them. Go Lakers!!!!
