Kobe doesnt get a bum rap!! Please its just him playing "the watch me takeover show" is getting them nowhere as it did in the past. Isn't this the same Laker team that has been getting props and praises for everybody contributing, their deep bench (joke), and the best player in the league. The Lakers are a finesse team plain and simple so put against some rough and tough vets, they are being exposed...

I think that Kobe gets a bum rap, If he passes and doesn't shoot, he is labeled as too passive, If he takes matters into his own hands he is selfish and a ball hog. If Lebron James had put on that performance in Game 5 he would have been worshiped as a hero with no one to help him. But When it comes to Kobe he is damned if he do and damned if he doesn't. The rest of the team were not involved because they were mentally somewhere else. Lack of hustle, lack of will, lack of sense of the moment. I beleive that the supporting cast needs more pep talks to keep them menatally involved in the game. I don't believe that possess the mental toughness inspire themselves. Thats where the conflict comes in between Kobe and the rest of the team. He is not a person who motivates verballly, He motivates by doing.

Omnius...I don't understand why you Laker fans are in total denial. DJ Mbenga to spell Gasol??? LOL. Refs helping Celtics??? Um dude. Lakers had 4 times as many charity stripe shots as the Lakers in game 5 and THEY STILL LOST! Man you Lakers fans are just complete IDIOTS! It's no wonder you root for the Lakers. They're in denial too! They're all saying how they're not going to lose any sleep and acting non-chalant. Lakers have more talent dude, but (except Kobe and Fish and Luke) they HAVE NO HEART! That's why your cream puffs aren't going to win. If only the Lakers had a heart and played team ball they could beat the Celtics, but they don't.
A KNICKS FAN! Go Shrek and Donkey!

Kurt Rambis is correct that Pau Gasol is playing too much and not getting enough help from Bynum and Odom. Bynum has his wrecked knee hindering him but he's been great gutting his way through the pain and the hobbled knee. Odom hasn't been good on the road and wasn't in Boston but now that he's home with the Kardashians he should step up. Still I thought Phil Jackson made a mistake not putting DJ Mbenga in to spell Gasol a little more so Pau can get proper rest so he can then go out and hustle. As long as the refs stop helping Boston by looking the other way when they commit so many fouls the Lakers should whip the Celtics good the next two games. That block against Gasol in game 5 was a foul not called. Lakers will light up the scoreboard tonight as the Showtime Lakers return to finish up the series. Celtics are 1-7 in closeout games on the road and couldn't closeout the Lakers on the road in 2008.
