England/USA is a battle of countries and therefore should attract more audience like the olympics BUT yes, one single game of NBA, last night game 5 did much better than world cup game on saturday. NBA got 18mm to 13mm for world cup (both on ABC). Compare that to other notable but not followed US teams, like the US Olympic Hockey teams run in the olympics, that game vs. canada got a high rating of 35mm and averaged 28mm. Come on, not even close for all the publicity!
