I don’t believe the analysis cheapens the sport at all. I don’t believe its too harsh or biased in any way. I actually think it takes away some of the credibility of the people on both sides crying unfair referee treatment.

Thanks for the lucid analysis, Kurt. I too pray for a game decided more fully by the players. If the Lakers can stay focused and just execute amidst a raucous crowd AND whatever the zebras tweet or don’t, I like the their chances.
What are your guys’ thoughts on Donaghy’s analysis at deadspin? Or does the mere existence of it cheapen the sport we are such fans of?
