Look it up. Look at the history of some playoffs…and the role it played in who actually won.
Fortunately for LA, the Lakers don’t seem to be behaving like their fans. But theres still some basketball to play.

The problem with some Celtics fans and Lakers-haters is that they are too obsessed with the notion that the Lakers are a one-man team. Celtics are not the only one who can play team ball. Boston got crushed not because of the Black Mamba… they got demolished by the Laker Juggernaut.

rufe – Umm lakers did win the game. regardles of how. it your celtics weren’t ready to play, thats there fault. the final score in game 1 is all that matters.
speedy – We don’t mind Kobe scoring 80 in game 2 to cement his legacy as one of the greatest player ever put on a uniform. The other Lakers can contribute 20 points and that’s more than enough to beat your celtics.

You Lakers fans kills me………..All I can say is that Rondo and Ray Allen will show up on Sunday. See Kobe is the only significant factor on the Lakers. The Celtics will let Kobe do what he do and put pressure on the other nobody’s. Celtics will win these finals.beagled

I agree with Derrick when he says that the Celtics were beaten by a better team. The Lakers hustle on both sides of the ball and they have good shooting guards who will hit the “big 3s”. When that happens, that will open up the big men under the hoop for easy layups and slam dunks. This is a rematch of the 2007 NBA Finals but this time the Lakers are the better team. They have the better bench and the better “sixth man.” I figure the Lakers will repeat in six games. Go Lakers!!

Does more aggressive for Boston mean that Paul Pierce will resort to more dirty tricks to get the refs to bail him out with phantom foul calls? I saw Pierce pull a ditry trick on Kobe early in game 1 where Pierce fell back into Kobe then fell to the floor grabbing Kobe’s jersey and the ref was tricked into calling a foul on Kobe when it was just Pierce being a wimp dirty tricking the ref to bail him out. Saw later in the game where Pierce tried that dirty trick a second time and the ref wasn’t fooled by his dirty trick and that really made Pierce mad. Dirty tricksters do not deserve championships and if the Ancient Celtics can’t win honestly then they don’t deserve to even be in the Finals. Lakers will win honestly in 6 games or hopefully less.

Still? Its still about the Lakers did not win the game. The Celtics lost it. News flash. “Read all about it” The Lakers won. By themselves. By a lot. The only reason was is that Lakers happened to play on a lucky night. You guys. You are playing with fire. Someday you will be able to say I watched that Final and watched Kobe and Gasol and Odom and The Lakers and say they won.
