The problem with the keeping Iguodala at shooting guard idea, is that Collins has already stated 100 times in every newspaper article since he’s been hired that Iguodala was playing out of position at the 2 spot, and that he is a natural 3.

Don’t even think about it Philadephia . Take the proven commodity and leave the grab bag unknown alone . Examples : Greg Oden or Kevin Durant ?
Don’t make the Michael Olowokandi mistake of a lifetime . Oh yeah one more . Bowie or Jordan
Evan turner is a sure thing and will make your team better for 5 years . Why chance it ?

Amen brother, can anyone say Shawn Bradley!!!! If they do not take Turner as the beginning of the rebuilding process, they shoud fire both Eds, Snyder and Stefanski, this team stinks right now and other than trying to wait out these horrible contracts for Dalembert, Brand and the rest for the next couple of years to completely flush this pile of crap away, you both are the reason why. Stefanski must have compromising pictures of someone to keep his job anyway. This team is a disgrace and you have completely over rated your “young talent” as well. At this pace you will continue to be in the lottery every year, as you earlier said, tough to be a Sixers fan.

Philly desperately needs a center and what’s your suggestion … draft a guard ! Kurt I see why you’re not a GM.
I like Turner but yes it is a crazy concept. Who would they beat without a center ? Maybe you’d have them play college teams ! It makes sense only to you Kurt.

If Turner falls to the Nets I suspect the organization would really calibrate. Harris and Turner would make a great backcourt and with Lopez at center they would really have a shot at a big free agent. Even without another big addition this summer this is a quickly improving team. Perhaps it’s best they didn’t get #1 as they would just have replaced Harris with Wall.

Evan Turner is so clearly the pick but we should all remember Ed Stefanski is our GM. He will try to be smarter than everyone else and pick a guy who averaged 12 point a game in college instead of an Evan Turner, who was THE best player in college, and the player of the year.
I guess having potentially the best backcourt in basketball for the next ten years of Holliday and Turner is too much for Ed to grasp!

If the Sixers pass on Evan Turner it should be for Demarcus Cousins. Derrick Favors might have the most potential but Demarcus Cousins is a proven talent and drafting potential only leads to a coaches demise.
