Fisher is going to have his hands full with Rajon Rondo. Fisher’s experience in big games cannot hurt, but Rondo plays a high octane game. Artest can make a difference from the 2008 Laker team that lost to the Celtics in the finals.

WOW! Everyone posting this morning ate their Wheaties. Nice to see some support for Fish after everything he has done for the Laker Nation. Artest drove me crazy all season but our biggest hope in the Celtic series is that Kobe looks immortal again.

I am a laker fan going back to the days of Wilt and Jerry, Time for me to admit I was wrong about the Ron and Trevor trade. Mitch and Phil had it right all along. I laughed and cried when Ron made that shot off his hip. Time for the Laker Nation to embrass Mr. Artest!

Problem with many peeps who diss D-Fish is that they only see the statline vis-a-vis Fish’s age. There are many intangibles that D-Fish brings into the table. STABILITY is one of them. Ron is a wild card but with Kobe, Fish, and Phil to rein him, he will be just fine.

Poor much maligned Derek Fisher, so misunderstood by the media hypes who trash him at every opportunity. Fish isn’t there for the regular season but right now for the playoffs. His experience, solid defense and timely Fisher Swishers are why he has 4 rings, soon to be 5.
Ron Artest has arrived. Paul Pierce meet Ron Artest who will be Too Fierce for Pierce! What an excellent trade as now Artest is the perfect player to have playing Boston who plays a physical brand of ball. With Ron’s timely putback to win game 5 and then a monster scoring game to clinch game 6 Ron Artest has arrived as a Laker.

This also highlights how STUPID the Critics (and alot of Lakers fans) are. Phil & the Lakers front office did not win MULTIPLE championships by not knowing how to evaluate players. If Phil and the brain-trust had faith in these 2 players, then you should’ve known there was a GOOD reason why.
If you want to win rings, you must listen to the opinions of people who have actually done it. Not a bunch of IDIOT critics and fans.
