Stan Van Gundy is not the issue with the Magic as it is some of the players on that team. Stan Van Gundy has no option but to play the players that have the biggest heart and want to compete. Vince Carter is a great individual basketball player but lacks that killer instict and has failed to take over games when needed the most. They are playing one on one for the most part and somebody has to make a play off the dribble and Carter is the only player with that skill set. The only adjustment I see the Magic taking as a team is speeding up the game and getting Howard the ball earlier in transition and less in a half court set. Also, they have to do a better job rotating and not leaving Nelson to play Paul in the post or on the elbow. The Magic lack a swagger to win a title and if they do get it back it might be to late. You never know though. Go magic!
