no Hickson no championship coach brown never played the man who helped the Cavs get the best record in the N.B.A Mike Browns playoff coaching is terrible No right adjustments were made last yers or this year we need a coach who coaches not let the players coach,we havent had a championship in 45years here in Cleveland and we are sooooo thirsty……excuse me i need more water.i’ve been thirsty for 45years….right now why we have the best players in the N.B.A. and now they are watchin the playoffs for a 5th strait year

It is a moot point to give X and O’s adjustments when the players will not execute the plan, (e.g. Orlando, game 3). The players have to take ownership for their performance, just like the coach. However, it does not appear that the players are going to held accountable, just Mike Brown. The bottom line is the players did not execute. They have the talent. There has to be self motivation. They are grown men making A LOT OF MONEY TO PERFORM!

Brown is a good regular season coach, but after watching some of those “right inside the huddle” pep talks they show us fans on TV he didn’t seem to have the respect of the players. They just straight-up ignored him it seemed to me. If you weren’t an NBA player before you became a coach, today’s players are going to ignore you for the most part. Guys like Jackson, Sloan, Popovich, and Rivers…even guys like Woodson, Brooks, McMillan, Westphal, Rambis, Karl, Adelman, and Skiles were NBA players first. Brown never played a day in the bigs. He started off as a video coordinator for Denver.

Lebron was coaching this team. Didn’t you ever watch a shot of the huddle during a time out? Mike would let Lebron direct the other players, then put his hand in the huddle for the “1-2-3 let’s go”! I don’t feel sorry for MB because his use of subs was bizzare.

It sounds as if there was a lot of shananigans going on behind the scenes in C-town. The players were not motivated to win. Coaches can only do so much. You can lead a horse to water, but you can not make it drink, as the old saying goes. The players are only going to listen for so long. Then, they (players) start thinking that they know everything, stop listening to direction, and all of a sudden we got ourselves a “Mike Brown” situation. The NBA is a “Players League”!!!

Dan Gilbert is not a racist – he made a bad decision. Coach Brown won your franchise over 60 games 2 (two) seasons in a row and made your franchise player (Bron) the league MVP twice. U made the NBA Finals on his watch too – Dan Gilbert should @ least give the guy one more season but hey its HIS TEAM. Dan Gilbert is not a racist – STOP IT.

Brown was not fired for being black- he was fired because they couldn’t blame their star (they don’t have the stones for that) for not winning when it counted, and the coach is always the first scapegoat. Never thought of MB as a “great” coach able to make required adjustments during playoffs. The reg season is OK, but the only trophy is called “playoffs”. I am not a Cav fan, but I felt sorry for this team collapsing in the playoff, year after year. Owner should have fired MB 2 years ago.
Is James the league MVP? nahhh. Kobe is now a better player, a better passer . Like Magic used to do, he makes the team plays better as long as he’s not a ball hog.

Bottom line is Mike Brown wasn’t willing to put the right line-ups on the court. Bad playoff decisions led to quick exits. Was he that good of a coach? Put LeBron on any team with any coach and he can make them seem like a good team. The Cavs were soft in the playoffs. The swagger of the regular season doesn’t do a lick of good when you’re fighting for your life in the playoffs.

I’ll be a baker’s niece before I believe that West is putting the hot sausage into LeBron’s mother’s orifices – it’s all a load of dolphin sperm, the kind of Ford rust that cheap rumor sites thrive on. Don’t have a word of it.
As for Mike Brown, he certainly did get what he deserves. I have always found the Hawks’ ex-head coach, one Mike Woodson, a far more attractive prospect, and now that he is on the market I think that the Cavs would do well to snap him up. His facial hair looks like it would irritate a woman’s soft and delicate skin should he rub his cheeks against the inside of her thighs.

Mike Brown is a good coach, that’s obvious if he coaches his team to 60+ wins not just twice, but 2 seasons in a row. Unfortunately, his team ran into better teams during the last 2 playoff runs. Sorry but my cousin Vinny Del Negro is not the answer. Hire Kurt Rambis away from the Timberwolves or hire Byron Scott and the Cavs will be better suited for the playoffs next year…assuming they can keep LBJ.
