Did this writer watch a single game? I’m sick of people making these ridiculously pedestrian claims about Don Nelson, just repeating what others write, not actually watching the games and blowing the same stale smoke up people’s…rears. All the claims that Nelson doesn’t play rookies? Curry played quite a bit, wouldn’t you say? Randolph was hurt half the season (And, hate to break it to you, the guy is erratic on the floor). Wright the whole season! Morrow? The guy has had a chance to play here more than he would have ANYWHERE else could have possibly! AND he’s inconsistant, and a poor defender. They played most of the season without any big man. Biedrins was hurt most of the season and when he did play was totally out of sync. Played terrible (Damn, proved my Dad right about Biedrins). Truth is winning 26 games(you said 25, further displaying that not only are you an idiot, but you do not know what proper journalism is), playing entertaining basketball for much of it, playing close to .500 ball in the final month for the season with a bunch of rejects and molding a young Curry who improved month to month – which Nelson had nothing to do with that, right? (sarcastic, in case you are too dumb to get that)….Nelson deserves some credit.

Maybe his running style leads to injuries. Ever think of that?
and he does alienate players. It will better for the Warriors if he goes home to Maui.

How was Don Nelson “misusing” the players? Do you realize that the Warriors players had the highest number of games missed, due to injury, in the entire NBA? In order to misuse players, they have to be available to play. Now, I am not a big Don Nelson fan, but we should be fair. Their 25 win season is not his fault.
