I want to know why since everyone wants to boycott Phoenix AZ they are even playing a lakers/suns game. Would it be money?

It is not “Los Sols”.
“Sol” means “sun” and in order to make the plural to a word that ends in consonant, you ad “-es”, not “-s”.
That would be “Los Soles”.

If someone is in the country illegally and doing something wrong, and they are asked to show their documentation, what’s the issue?
If someone is in the country illegally under any circumstances, they are breaking the law. I’m sure that police aren’t just walking up to anyone of Hispanic descent asking them for their paperwork. They have better things to do than hassle everyone except people who are committing a crime.
There are naturalization laws that document the way to get into the country. That’s how just about all of our ancestors got here. Circumventing them because you don’t feel like waiting, or don’t feel like doing it at all is a personal issue and if you are hassled, that’s your problem.

How do you possibly attached racial profiling to the wording of this bill? It simply reflects the federal law already in existance. The Sun’s could have worn the Los Suns jerseys in celebration of Cinco de Mayo. They seriously crossed the line by using it to protest the new law. Sports should stay sports. Leave the politics to the politicians. Big mistake Sarver.

Quite simply, the bill legalizes racial profiling. That’s it. That’s why NBA, MLB and other professional athletes don’t like it.
Here are the key provisions:
B. FOR ANY LAWFUL CONTACT MADE BY A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIAL OR AGENCY OF THIS STATE OR A COUNTY, CITY, TOWN OR OTHER POLITICAL SUBDIVISION OF THIS STATE WHERE REASONABLE SUSPICION EXISTS THAT THE PERSON IS AN ALIEN WHO IS UNLAWFULLY PRESENT IN THE UNITED STATES, A REASONABLE ATTEMPT SHALL BE MADE, WHEN PRACTICABLE, TO DETERMINE THE IMMIGRATION STATUS OF THE PERSON. THE PERSON’S IMMIGRATION STATUS SHALL BE VERIFIED WITH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT PURSUANT TO 8 UNITED STATES CODE SECTION 1373(c).
E. A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER, WITHOUT A WARRANT, MAY ARREST A PERSON IF THE OFFICER HAS PROBABLE CAUSE TO BELIEVE THAT THE PERSON HAS COMMITTED ANY PUBLIC OFFENSE THAT MAKES THE PERSON REMOVABLE FROM THE UNITED STATES.

Agreed–the jerseys don’t say “The Suns”, so a proper Spanish translation would still be “Suns”.

Actually, if I’m not mistaken, it should still be Los Suns since Suns is the name of the team which is a proper noun. Generally, proper nouns are not translated.
