How many rings did Kobe win without Shaq leading the way? Heck, how did Kobe do in the Playoffs until they got Pau Gasol last year? Truth is, without a dominant big man Kobe hasn't been able to do squat. It took him what, 13 or 14 years, to finally get his NBA Finals MVP? Laker fans act like Kobe owns the Finals when the truth is it took him over a decade to finally get the MVP. LeBron is in year 7 and playing on teams with considerably less talent than what Kobe had early in his career.
As for last year, LeBron did everything possible to beat Orlando (39/7/7) - it was his teammates who dropped the ball.

Truth,
What an insightful post. If averaging 27 points a game and hitting 6 game winners while leading his team to the best record in a difficult (8th seed won 50 game) Western Conference is "sucking" then your right he did "suck" this year. gotta Love the haters. Without Haters winning it all wouldn't be as fun.
Sincerely,
The Real Truth

Yeah. Yeah. He's the King. The King without any Ring. As long as he's in Cleveland he will never have a supporting cast. That's why he won't be there next season. He can be the King. Kobe will be the WORLD CHAMPION 4 times (and counting) over. LeBron won't even get out of the East (again). And again he will stomp off the court like a poor sport when he get's beat. I will love watching that for the second regular season MVP in a row. MVP that can't win his conference. What a joke.

i thought during the first half the refs were terrible calling ticky tack fouls against the cavs, but not calling the hard fouls against lebron and not giving him continuation on the one foul and even made him take it from the sideline.
lebron is the king cos he's better than kobe and 6 years his junior. kobe has a better cast than lebron, as does dwight howard, and even the celtics have a better starting 5 (other than james).

MVP is a regular season award. I said it last year and I will say it again this year. Winning an MVP and securing the league's best regular season record (in a watered down Eastern conference)is meaningless if you fail to win it all. LeBron is great but still HASN'T WON ANYTHING! Let's ask Steve Nash if he would trade his two MVP trophies for a shot (trip to Finals) to have the champagne sting his eyes. I laugh when people call LeBron the King. How can someone be the King when he's never been to the pinnacle (Championship Team) of his sport? The only trophy that matters is the Larry O'Brien. Last year LeBron won MVP and couldn't even get his team out of the L-EASTERN conference. That's hardly King like material. Kobe Bryant (4 rings and counting) is the King. Go Lakers.
