Uh, Paul Gasol was an elite player on Memphis. Memphis just sucked as a team. Outside of Kobe and Gasol, no one on the Lakers is an “elite” player (which is why they were the only All Stars). Put down the crack pipe, Georgie.
And what does the West playoffs have to do with winning the MVP, a regular season award? Lebron and the Cavs dominated the West this year.

Wow. The reason why the lakers are so good is because they have gotten better by experience. If you were to talk about any of the players besides Ron Artest. You wouldn’t call them Elite players until they got to the Lakers.Cleveland has great players as well.The east is a lot easier to get through in the playoffs compared to the West also.
