rockets have a big player with yao martin ariza and brooks..if rockets get cris bosh.houston realy do to get a championship ring.so get bosh to support yao from the frontcourt. kiven martin,yao ming,trevor ariza,aaron brooks,and also bosh that the key of rockets to get a championship ring….go housto rockets.go

Is it me or is everyone forgetting the draft picks we received from the knicks.Those can be potential pieces in getting bosh here. I think we would have to part ways with scola or jordan hill but not both. Morey is a genius and he will make a deal that will only benefit our team

Chris Bosh could just leave and Toronto would get nothing for him correct? Yeah so Colangelo cant really pick and choose what he wants (Scola). He will probably get Hill, some draft picks and an expiring contract but thats about it.

Obviously we will have to give up something if we really want Bosh. I was reading the paper today and Morey plans to go all out as far as recruiting pitches go. If we do want Bosh we will probably have to part ways with Scola, Hill, maybe even Brooks.

If the rockets signed bosh scola wouldnt be resigned. it would be two much money that he wants cause he had a heck of a year. Bosh even said he doesnt really wanna play in his home town Dallas but wouldnt mind other cities in Texas, Hello Houston. He wants a ring like everyone else and if you put him in houston with yao their a lock for the title next year. they had a good year with out their best player and one of the best players in the game. add two of the best and youve got a hell of a team.

Sure, that makes sense for Houston, but why in the name of god would Toronto want to do that? Jordan Hill and Bargnani as their starting front-court? The salaries don’t come close to matching, anyways.
If they were do pull the trigger on the proposed Andrew Bynum sign and trade with the Lakers, however, they get shot-blocking, rebounding and a complement to the finesse game of Bargnani, ala Dirk/Dampier, Lewis/Howard, etc.
Bosh is getting his money, that much is for sure – he’ll supply a list of teams to Bryan Colangelo. I seriously doubt Houston could offer as nice a package as LA, Dallas, or some of the other players.

Because the smartest GM in sports (Daryl Morey) figures that since these teams can sign there own FA’s at more than anyone else They wouldn’t want to sign somewhere else for less so teams with more trade chips have the advantage… and I believe him

If he is a free agent why would you have to give up Jordan hill or Luis scola for him? Is he too expensive too sign him and keep the rest of the guys?

There are a lot of teams who want to bid on Bosh. Why not Houston?
Be prepared to part with Scola, Hill, and more to get it done though.
Don’t be part of “We’re going to get an All-Star for scraps crowd” That is just disingenuous.
At least point out the pieces the Rockets might really have to convince the Raptors to S&T their FA to your team.
But there is no reason Houston can’t join the speculation party. Why not, everyone else has!
And it is fun.
