The Spurs are NOT going to move. They are very popular in San Antonio and have VERY STRONG SUPPORT.

They need to admit the end is coming, if not here already. They just re-signed Manu, and they’d pay Duncan til he was 50 (and he’d probably still be worth every cent). That leaves Parker, and 13.5mil can buy some damn fine rebuilding-on-the-fly.

Would it be a bad deal if Parker re-signed for a near max deal and Bosh did the same and they traded cities? I know Toronto isn’t Quebec but Tony’s French heritage would probably be a better fit in Canada. Of course his better half would never come to see him but the two teams would both be winners.

The Spurs would lose a huge fan base if they made a foolish decision like trading Parker for ANYONE – no matter how the Spurs do post-season. Go Spurs!
